South Valley Art Tour

ABOUT THE SOUTH VALLEY ART TOUR

During the South Valley Art Tour (SVAT) a collection of artists from Tulare County — both nationally recognized as well as aspiring greats — invite you into their personal workspaces for a behind-the-scenes tour.

Get to know the faces and places behind Tulare County’s best artwork!

Broaden your art horizons and make personal connections with creative minds in your community!

Formally known as The South Valley Artists’ Studio Tour, the South Valley Art Tour remains Tulare County’s widest-reaching art event of the year. Due to the tremendous growth of the South Valley Art Tour over the years we have featured the Southern and Northern regions of Tulare County on alternating years. However in 2025 we are once again inviting all artists of Tulare County to participate!

South Valley Art Tour Passport

Community members visiting the artist studios will need to acquire a SVAT Passport, the official SVAT travel guide, or use the digital map.

The Passport is a keepsake booklet that features artist bios, previews of artist work, maps and directions needed to access the studios and artists, and gives you the chance to win prizes in our Stamp Rally!

Visitors who want to use the FREE digital map will have access to it the day before and during the event. The digital map only contains artist’s locations.

Businesses, organizations, restaurants, and individuals have the opportunity to advertise via the South Valley Art Tour passport booklet.

During this two-day event, community members navigate between each stop by using the keepsake passport booklet and/or digital map. While the booklet is a purchasable good the digital map is completely free. Both the passport and digital map provides all the information, maps and directions needed to access the studios and artists. Ads are included in both the physical booklet and online.

You have the opportunity to put your marketing directly in the hands of every passport holder at an extremely reasonable rate!

Review the marketing + donation form, there are plenty of options to choose from. One highlighted tier is the featured “Pit Stop” restaurant. This tier gets a special deal, including a full page ad and their location(s) plotted on the tourists’ event maps. Those who choose this option often use the advertisement as a coupon for tourists who visit their location during the tour.
