Tulare County Museum | The Tulare County Museum houses one of the largest Native American basket collections in California as well as artifacts of the pioneer era, agriculture equipment, restored buildings and many other treasures that tell the history of Tulare County. The James Earle Fraser work, "The End of the Trail," one of his most iconic pieces, is also located in Mooney Grove Park. The current statue on display is a bronze replica, which replaced the original work when it was moved to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma. Tulare-Kings Writers | Tulare-Kings Writers is a networking group open to writers and aspiring writers wishing to connect with other writers. During their monthly meetings, they discuss topics relevant to the literary arts, participate in flash fiction exercises, practice reading aloud from their books, and invite guests to speak with them. They also attend events where they sell books written by members and published both traditionally and independently. They meet monthly at 10 AM on the third Saturday.
