Taste the Arts is coming October 14th, 2017!
Join us in downtown Visalia.


Taste the Arts is a street art fair that showcases the variety of art produced in Tulare County. The festival takes place 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, October 14th. Art booths, performances, contests, and demonstrations to make the event a fun time for families.

Artists are asked to talk about their work and to engage the public in their art by providing demonstrations.

The Art Show will stretch across Garden Street from Garden Street Plaza on Main to the Old Lumber Yard. Two stages will provide entertainment as well as DJs spinning tunes at the Old Lumber Yard.

- Lumberyard Spaces: $30.00 - NO CANOPY INCLUDED - All other registration benefits and deadlines remain the same.

There will be a non-refundable registration fee of $50.00. This will guarantee you a 10' X 10' space, pop-up canopy and $8.00 food voucher to be used with the food vendors at the event.

Artists must bring their own easels, tables, etc. All art displayed in the booths must be original and family-friendly. We will again feature a $100 prize for the best artist booth design.
NEW THIS YEAR! The best artist will also win a booth for the 2018 Taste The Arts Festival at no additional cost.

Artist must submit bio information and images which represent what will be in their booth along with the entry application. We are also asking participants to submit a 10" X 10" representation of their work for our October First Friday Preview of Taste the Arts.


Sales

All sales will be the artists responsibility as well as collecting and reporting sales tax. Having a resale license or seller's permit is highly encouraged. Seller Permit information is available here - https://www.boe.ca.gov/sutax/faqseller.htm
The Arts Consortium will not be collecting a percentage of sales.

Publicity

The exhibition will be publicized regionally. The Arts Consortium reserves the right to photograph any accepted work for the purposes of publicity.

The Arts Consortium publishes an official Taste the Arts artist booth directory. In order to be included in the directory, all information and images must be submitted by the deadline.


Deadline

The deadline for entry is September 30, 2017



The Arts Consortium and Taste the Arts committee reserves the right to accept or reject all work submitted. The Arts Consortium accepts no liability for damaged or lost art works.
